But make no mistake: while usually nice, JC uses her Serena van der Woodsen charm and Blair Waldorf sense of authority to her advantage. In the recently completed first season, she shows a spine of steel — defying her father’s wishes to hook up with her half-sister Zoya, then confronting him over her sexual abuse allegations. Unlike the OG GG queens however, Julien shows more responsibility. In one episode, right at Zoya’s birthday party, she realizes she’s gone too far by bullying her sister into asking everyone in the crowd to record her unexpected confession “I’m a brute”.

And just like that… Sema Patel

While the late follow-up series to the iconic sex and the city, And just like that… proves that women can hold their own no matter the decade or stage of life.

And just like that, it’s Seema Patel

The show may have its quirky leads in Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, but no one translates that message more than fifty-something real estate agent Seema (Sarita Choudhury). A new addition to the series, Seema is a breath of fresh air – playing a major role in showing recently widowed Carrie that there’s still more to life after Mr. Big’s death. She even helps him find a new apartment! Unapologetic and opinionated, Seema points out Carrie’s mistakes, including that callous — albeit unintentional — remark about her love life and age.
