adidas x Parley UltraBOOST 5.0 DNA “White/Silver/Mint”

There are many iconic silhouettes in adidas‘ wheelhouse, but none has had as much of an impact on streetwear culture as the UltraBOOST. After the Climacool-equipped iteration we saw earlier this week, the Three Stripes are back with another alternate version, this time teaming up with Parley for the Oceans on UltraBOOST DNA 5.0.

Working with Parley, adidas reduced the pair’s environmental impact by using a high-performance Primeknit yarn made from 50% recycled polyester and 50% Parley Ocean plastic. The ocean theme continues with its “White/Silver/Mint” colorway, while hits of Coral-Orange appear on the BOOST midsole, heel clip, collar, toe box and interior.

The heel cage is made from sustainably sourced plastic and features the UltraBOOST logo, while more plastic has been used for the lace cage where you’ll find the silver three stripes alongside bright blue laces aka “Mint”. The full-length BOOST midsole that incorporates torsional stability inside and the Continental rubber outsole that provides long-lasting durability complete the pair.
